Julie Skon launched Makers & Goods in 2013 in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. In addition to being a mecca of innovative makers, creative artisans, hard-working farmers, craftsmen, and conscious brands, Santa Barbara is also one the top destinations in the world for weddings and event gatherings.

Seeing an opportunity to combine her passions of supporting local makers, discovering conscious brands, design, unique gifting, and event coordination, Julie seized the opportunity to begin this business.

Now 10+ years in business, Makers & Goods has expanded to be able to provide full service gifting for events all over the United States. We personally deliver in Santa Barbara, Ojai, Santa Ynez, and Los Angeles (and we ship nationwide). We are so happy to say that we continue to source from local Makers and conscious global brands. We aim to create as many layers of social good as possible in each gift while selecting goods that are unique, luxurious, special, and are exciting to both give and receive.
